DAILY WINDOW RECITALS IN THE YORCKSTRASSE // 2020

 

 

Stranded at home during the Covid-19 outbreak, Januševičius established a tradition of daily window concerts for his community in Hanover's Yorckstraße. Every concert consisted of 15 minutes of unique programme, dedicated to a different episode of music history. The series received high acclaim and attention in Hanover and abroad. After 55 programmes amounting to over 13 hours of music, the series ended on May 10. Januševičius promised to make occasional window concerts throughout the year 2020.
