Simultaneously to the active artistic output, Gintaras Januševičius shares his knowledge and experience in his master classes in USA, Japan, PR China, Brazil as well as in most European countries, most notably at the Royal Academy of Music in London, the Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media, the Shenzhen University, and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Drama.
Since 2017 he serves as the artistic director and professor of piano at the summer piano academy "Klaipėda Piano Masters" in Lithuania, as well as at the winter piano academy "Feuerwerk Einbeck" in Germany. Throughout the year he mentors private students in his studio in Hanover, Germany, as well as offers online lessons and courses. In 2020 he joined the teaching staff of the Hanover University of Music, Theater, and Medias (HMTM Hannover).
Gintaras Januševičius is fluent in Lithuanian, Russian, English, and German languages.

KLAIPĖDA PIANO MASTERS
Summer Piano Academy at the Baltic Sea
9th edition - July 2025
KPM is the biggest piano academy in the Baltic States. It welcomes young pianists and music entrepreneurs from all over the world aged 14-35 to receive knowledge and training while discovering the beauty of Samogitia and the Baltic Sea.
In 11 days the students will be provided with varied and intensive programme including individual piano lessons, a concert tour in Samogitia, lectures and discussions, focused on efficient practice, music interpretation, stage presence, self-management, narrative recitals, public relations, and performance psychology, taught by prominent artists, pedagogues, TV hosts, and professional managers. The course also includes massage therapy and physical training based on dance, yoga, Pilates exercise and Alexander technique, as well as leisure activities, including the prominent Lithuanian Sea Festival.
All piano lessons are performed on a C. Bechstein C234 Grand Piano (year 2015). Participants will be provided with free lodging and shared practice facilities and rehearsal space 24 hours per day. All details about the academy can be found here.

FEUERWERK EINBECK
Piano Academy in a historic Hanseatic Town
9th Edition - April 5 to 13, 2025
International Piano Academy FEUERWERK is an annual invitation-only academy for selected young pianists from around the world. It is organized by Konzert- & Kulturfreunde Einbeck e.V. with the help of sponsors and countless volunteers around the city of Einbeck.
FEUERWERK is an exclusive invitation-only academy, closed to public applications. Eleven participants are selected based on their outstanding talent and achievements during the past year and recommended by partnering competitions, academies, foundations, and universities.
Editions 2017-2024 featured pianists from Australia, Belarus, Cameroon, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Ghana, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sakartvelo, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and the USA. Students attend piano lessons as well as lectures on self-management and performance psychology. They also benefit from individual physiotherapy sessions and work in a recording studio. The concert tour of the academy consists of five recitals, where all 11 pianists perform a different work every night.
Students of the 2025 edition will be chosen at various festivals, competitions, and academies in Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, Sweden among others.

HANOVER PIANO STUDIO
Hanover Piano Studio of Gintaras Januševičius is open for piano students seeking professional tutelage or advice. Options for both weekly lessons and occasional consultations are available.
The studio is located in the historic district of Oststadt, at a 5 minutes walking distance from both the Central Railway Station and the University for Music, Drama, and Media. It houses a 1922 fully restored Steinway & Sons piano (Model O, 180 cm).
