DAILY WINDOW CONCERTS IN THE YORCKSTRAßE
Concert cancellations due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak have become a part of every artists life. With my USA and Lithuanian tours cancelled, I have decided to use this time to learn new repertoire and cheer my wonderful Yorckstraße community in Hanover with daily concerts. Between March 17 and May 10, every evening at 18.15 I used to open my windows and perform a short tribute to art, humanity, and friendship.
Inspired by the historic recitals by Anton Rubinstein, I tried to offer my audience a wide range of styles and epochs, dedicating every of these tiny recitals to a chapter in the history of music. Here you can find all the programmes I performed on this series.
On May 11 I returned to live teaching, effectively ending my personal quarantine and the series that symbolized it.
